On the evening prior to pickup, you will receive a SMS or Email reminder.
10 minutes prior to arrival, you will receive an SMS message notifying you to meet the driver at the pickup location.
Your laundry driver will wait for a maximum of 5 minutes before leaving, or if approved by you, continue to wait. A charge of $0.37/minute will apply for each minute after 5 minutes. Missed pickups will incur a $10 missed pickup fee.
Once your laundry is processed, we return it at the same time the next business day, following the same procedure.
Items to be Dry Cleaned should be placed in a separate bag and marked clearly “Dry Cleaning” along with your name. These items will be billed per piece.

If you have room in your allotted DML Laundry Bag to fit a bulky washable item, it is included in your plan. For Gold and Platinum Student Plan Subscribers, there are limited amounts of Comforters, Duvets, Bath Mats, and Curtains/Drapery included in the Plan. Check your Student Plan for details. Items in excess of the limits will be billed per piece.
Student Laundry Plans may be cancelled at any time by sending notice to firstname.lastname@example.org A 5% processing fee will apply (this fee is charged by merchant services) if cancelled prior to the start of the school semester. Student Laundry Plan cancellations received after the start of the school semester will be refunded according to the following schedule and percentage based on the amount of the plan used.

We find that the average person generates about 15 – 20 pounds of laundry per week. An example of this is: 2-4 pairs of pants, 2-3 pairs of shorts, underwear, 7-10 shirts, 2 bath towels, 2 wash cloths, 1 sweatshirt, and 1 set of bed linen.
Depending on how active your lifestyle is, your employment, your exercise regiment, and your social activities, the amount may be higher. In some cases, seasonal clothing adds to the amount that needs to be laundered.
That’s easy! By downloading the free DoMyLaundry.ca free Laundry App, you will be able to make payment as well as set up your pick up and delivery days, change days, suspend service and track your Laundry order. You will also receive notification of the driver’s arrival.

Hotels change long term guest bed linen a minimum of 2 times per week. At a minimum, we recommend once weekly. Some reputable sources suggest that you could stretch it to once every 2 weeks, providing you do not perspire heavily while sleeping, and that you bath before going to bed.
If you suffer from acne, eczema or other skin irritations, we suggest changing and washing, at least your pillow cases, more frequently.
We suggest that all new under garments should be washed prior to wearing. If you have skin sensitivities, we also suggest washing all items of clothing that comes in contact with your skin before wearing.
Depends! If you own pets, work outdoors, walk around without your shoes on, we suggest leaving the dirtiest side of the clothes out. If you clothing has embellishments such as beading, gem stones, delicate embroidery etc. turn them inside out,
The worst culprit of all are socks. If you turn your socks inside out, everything trapped inside (grass, pet hairs, gravel etc.) will still be on the fabric after washing
Prior to your 1st pickup, you will be provided with DML Laundry Bags for your use. If for some reason you do not receive them prior to your first pickup, simply use any bag available and be sure to attach your full name and address. We will ensure that you have the DML laundry Bags for your next pickup.
DoMyLaundry.ca is proud to offer Iso-Wash Laundry Services. We use Fragrance Free, Dye Free, Hypo-Allergenic Detergent and Softener to process your laundry order. Be sure to select Iso-Wash Laundry Service when placing your order.
DoMyLaundry.ca washes all clothing in cold water unless otherwise requested. We also dry your clothes on high heat. If you have laundry that needs special handling, please let us know and clearly identify them in a separate bag on pick up days
- Normally, we will do our best to check pockets in your clothing prior to washing. However, it is ultimately your responsibility for items left in pockets. If we find anything it will be returned in a zip lock bag on top of your laundry.
On the recommendation from various Health Authorities, during the COVID-19 Pandemic, we will not be shaking out laundry or checking pockets prior to loading into our washing machines. This safety protocol is in place to protect our laundry team from the spread of the Coronavirus. Please check your own pockets and un-ball your socks, pants and shirts.
- We always want to ensure that you have the convenience of your clean laundry so first, try these:
- If anyone else is going to be home, we can leave your laundry with them.
- If you think it is safe to do so, we could leave your laundry order in an area designated by you
- If you have a concierge or security desk that accepts deliveries, we could leave it with them
If those ideas do not work for you, and you need to reschedule, please call us or send us an email message. Please give us enough time to receive the message and schedule your request before the driver is dispatched,
IMPORTANT: If you do not contact us to reschedule your pick-up/delivery and are not at home during your scheduled pick-up or delivery time you will be charged a $10 missed delivery fee!
